Bringing quality and affordability back into travel
Having worked in luxury travel, but being explorers by nature, the concept of Hotels Under 100 came about as a result of wanting to discover affordable authentic experiences that could be enjoyed on the budget of a travel consultants salary (not terribly generous) whilst not disappointing us poor unfortunates who, during work trips often stay in the best that money (usually a lot of money) can buy. So, we set off and trawled the cities, cultural hotspots, jungles, deserts and beaches as well as off the beaten track destinations did indeed discover that in order to have an authentic and often magical experience one didn’t need to spend a fortune.
Many of these hotels are often privately owned and managed, indeed many are people’s own homes and therefore offer an authentic, local experience of that particular country. One can glean many tips from these owners that may indeed direct you to sights and experiences that are not on the main tourist trail.
We didn’t want to keep these places a secret, well, we would like to but they are simply too good not to share, and so, Hotels Under 100 was born. Hotels Under 100
Hotels where all double rooms with the exception of the main suite are Under £100.00 year round. Prices are based on 2 people sharing a double room on bed and breakfast basis and are inclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.
Luxury For Less
Luxury hotels which offer a small selection of its rooms year round for under £100.00. Prices are based on 2 people sharing a double room on bed and breakfast basis and are inclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated
Seasonal Offers
Hotels where the seasonal discounts bring the rates down to under £100.00 per night.
Prices are based on 2 people sharing a double room on bed and breakfast basis and are inclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.
Safari’s Under 100
A collection of safari lodges and activity based hotels offering a selection of experiences whether wildlife safari’s, camel safari’s, trekking, golf, yoga etc.
Prices are per person and are based on 2 people sharing a double room inclusive of full board, 1 x safari/activity per person and all taxes unless otherwise stated.
Quality
We aim to have a member of the HU100 team personally visit and review each hotel; however, we also offer hotels which have been recommended to us by trusted friends, colleagues and clients. On the ‘What We Say’ section we indicate whether the hotel has been reviewed or recommended.
We endeavour to use only quality properties and if a hotel consistently receives bad feedback it will be removed from the website.
